Book Review – The Perfect Marriage (No Spoilers!)

It has been a while since I have written a book review, but I haven’t stopped reading! I have multiple book I need to catch you guys up on! I read The Perfect Marriage, by Jeneva Rose, several months ago in just two short days. I was hooked from the very first chapter! This book doesn’t make you wait around for over one hundred pages to be drawn in, which I love! If a book takes too long to grab my attention, I tend to stop reading it! With that being said, let’s jump right into the review!

Although the title of the book is The Perfect Marriage, their marriage is far from perfect! It follows the lives of Sarah and Adam Morgan, a husband and wife, after the Adam’s mistress is found dead. He is immediately accused of her brutal murder, and his wife, who happens to be a lawyer, takes on his case to attempt to prove his innocence.

This book is gripping with many twists and turns, you won’t know who to trust! I personally absolutely loved this book, and could not stop thinking about it for weeks after reading it! Many others clearly did too, hence why it is currently rated 4.5 out of 5 stars on Amazon. However, even though I enjoyed it, I can absolutely see why some people did not. The author’s writing style is a bit different, there were some subtle, and not so subtle, editing mistakes, and some believe the ending was rushed. If you can look past those flaws, definitely give this book a chance! It’s free to read right now if you have Kindle Unlimited!

If you have already read The Perfect Marriage, what were your thoughts? Let me know in the comments, without giving away any spoilers!

May’s Book of the Month is Regretting You, by Colleen Hoover! If you want to join in, you can read it for free on Kindle Unlimited!
